Position: Hospital EM coding (HB coding/Facility coding)
Role Description
We are seeking experienced Senior Medical Coders for a full-time hybrid role based in Chennai, offering flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. Key responsibilities include analyzing medical records, assigning appropriate codes using standard classification systems, and ensuring compliance with established guidelines. The Senior Medical Coder will also assist in identifying areas for documentation improvement, provide coding expertise, and collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize billing and reporting processes.

Hospital EM coding (HB coding/Facility coding) with more than 4 yrs of experience who knows infusion, injection, immunization, bedside procedures, and it's supply and drugs coding (HCPCS)

Qualifications
Proficiency in medical coding, including knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
Ability to ensure coding accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards and payer guidelines.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills to ensure proper code assignment.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to coordinate with healthcare professionals and team members.
Prior experience working with electronic health record (EHR) systems is advantageous.
Certified coding credentials such as CPC, CCS, or equivalent certification, are required.
A bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study or equivalent clinical experience is preferred.
