Locum Clinical Pharmacist, Remote

Background

A forward‑thinking practice based in Whitehaven is looking for a Locum Clinical Pharmacist to support until March next year. This is a great opportunity for a Prescribing Pharmacist to work remotely with full‑time hours and an immediate start.

Provide primary support to general practice staff with prescription and medication queries, including repeat prescriptions, acute prescription requests, medicines reconciliation on transfer of care, and systems for safer prescribing. Offer clinical medicines advice while addressing both public and social care needs of patients.

£30‑35 per hour

Whitehaven, Remote

• Large rural practice in Whitehaven
• Skilled and supportive team
• EMIS Practice

• Provide clinical medication reviews
• Support treatment of common acute and long‑term conditions
• Manage minor ailments
• Handle medication management

• Qualified and fully registered with the GPhC
• Prescriber with a minimum of 2 years' experience
• Completed or working towards the CPPE pathway
• Remote access to EMIS (laptops not provided)
