Occupational Therapist

SALARY

£34.31 per hour (umbrella of your choice)

Various locations in Cumbria, North West England.

15 month locum contract until end of March 2027 with a view to extend. To start in January 2026.

Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm, part or full time hours considered

HCRG Staffing are looking for an Occupational Therapist (OT) to work in Barrow-in-Furness & Ulverston OR to work in Eden and Penrith in Cumbria for a local authority / Council.
Hybrid working available. Locum contract of 15 months to start in January.

Our client is looking for an Occupational Therapist with experience in adaption planning, seating moving and handling equipment. Also community experience. You will need to be on site just 2-3 days a week minimum with the other days working from home.

• Role will include holistic assessment of clients
• Understanding of care act eligibility required.
• Moving and handling experience essential
• Seating assessments
• Experience of DFGs preferable
• independent working and manage own caseload
• knowledge of equipment including both low level and minor adaptations

• Education
  :
  Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Licenses
  : HCPC registered
• Experience
  : 2 years experience.
• Skills
  :
  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Compassion and patience when working with vulnerable individuals. Ability to use own initiative to provide information and support to other staff
