Fixed Term Contract until 31 March 2027
Lightbulb is a partnership programme supported by the seven District Councils in Leicestershire and Leicestershire County Council. It brings together a range of practical housing support into a single point of access or referral. The overall ambition is to maximise the contribution that housing support can play in keeping vulnerable people independent in their homes.
The Senior Assistive Technology and Caseworker Coordinator role will manage two teams to support the delivery and implementation of assistive technology into homes, and the delivery of disabled facilities grant process.
You will manage the delivery of the two pilot projects. You will work closely with specialists within the Lightbulb team (including occupational therapists, grant officers, technical officers and adaptations officers); facilitating a holistic approach to housing support and supporting their work by offering individuals access to a wider range of housing support services.
You will have a wide range of experience in working with vulnerable adults and experience of working with key stakeholders and partners to get the best outcome for service users.
You will have experience of working in a housing, health or social care setting (including experience in the voluntary sector with this focus).
You will have the ability to manage projects through change and continuous development. Including overseeing the delivery and implementation of a new project offer.
You will have management experience.
The post is primarily based at Blaby District Council but may be required to be based at any of our offices within Leicestershire.
This role will require an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check (known as a DBS check). All offers of employment will be made conditional upon receipt of the satisfactory DBS check.
