Are you an experienced NMC-registered Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD) or HCPC-registered Paramedic, Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist ready for a new challenge? As a PIP Functional Assessor, you'll play a vital part in supporting the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) by conducting Personal Independence Payment (PIP) assessments. You'll combine professional collaboration with the flexibility of home working, making a real difference to people's lives.

• Conduct face‑to‑face and telephone consultations for PIP in a professional and empathetic manner.
• Analyse clinical information and medical evidence to produce clear, detailed and objective reports.
• Work to set standards/targets and respond positively to feedback.
• Operate independently while collaborating with clinical and administrative colleagues.
• Stay up to date with DWP guidelines, policies and assessment criteria.
• Engage in continuous learning to enhance clinical knowledge and practice.
• Work from the assessment centre as required.

• Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD), Physiotherapist, Paramedic or Occupational Therapist.
• Minimum 1 year of UK clinical experience.
• Active NMC or HCPC registration with no restrictions.
• UK right to work (sponsorship not available).
• Strong IT skills (minimum typing speed 35 WPM).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Recent clinical experience with a background in a broad range of settings.
• Ability to multi‑task and make objective, evidence‑based decisions.

• Previous experience in functional assessment or clinical decision‑making.
• Skilled in producing accurate, concise reports.
