Role & ResponsibilitiesAs a Freelance Counsellor/Psychologist, your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing individual, couple, family and/or group counselling sessions in a safe, empathetic, and confidential environment.
- Conducting psychological assessments and evaluations when necessary (for psychologists)
- Creating personalized treatment plans based on client needs.
- Offering guidance and support to clients dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, relationship issues, trauma, and other mental health challenges.
- Maintaining accurate and confidential client records.
- A Master’s degree in Psychology or Counselling.
- Registered/licensed or in the process of registering with a recognized professional body in Singapore (e.g., Singapore Psychological Society, Singapore Association for Counselling).
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
- Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
- A compassionate, empathetic, and non-judgmental approach to working with clients.
- Possess the relevant certifications and/or experience to provide couple counselling.
- Able to commit to avail minimum 15 hours a week to both in-person and online sessions.
- Able to commit to some availability for weekday evenings/nights and one weekend.
- Applicants must be Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents.
- Flexible working hours and location (work from home or office-based sessions).
