- Follow NICE guidelines when prescribing.
- Attend school meetings and safeguarding meetings via TEAMS as required.
- Undertake duty calls as needed.
- Use EMIS and electronic prescribing - training can be provided.
- Receive regular supervision, both clinical and managerial.
- Work remotely, attending the Canterbury or Basingstoke clinic once a month (expenses paid).
- Conduct 8-10 appointments a day, including remote review / new patient medication initiation appointments (45 mins) and telephone titration review appointments (15-20 mins).
- Authorise 8-10 prescriptions within a 45-minute slot.
- Allocate 30 minutes for administrative tasks.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and requires a Disclosure and Barring Service check. NMC Registered Nurse with a valid license to practice. - CAMHS background.
- BNFC training and ability to follow clinical protocols.
- Experience working with children and young people and / or adults diagnosed with ADHD.
