Paediatric Eating Disorders Dietitian
We have a new and exciting opportunity immediately available for a full‑time Band 6 Dietitian who will work with children with eating disorders (including ARFID) in a community out‑patient setting. A development opportunity may be offered to a successful candidate with less experience. The post will serve the population of North East Hampshire and will be split between our clinic in Aldershot and our base in Epsom.
The service is CARE Excellence Accredited.

Responsibilities- Carry out dietary assessments of children and work with families.
- Develop and implement agreed care plans in multi‑disciplinary out‑patient reviews.
- Deliver family‑based interventions and care‑coordinate care plans (full training will be provided).
- Contribute to the wider Nutrition & Dietetic team, providing peer supervision for eating disorder dietitians.
- Support and supervise student dietitians from Surrey University placements.
- Maintain knowledge of refeeding dietary advice and the MEED Guidelines.
- Band 6 Dietitian with paediatric experience or paediatric experience with a desire to develop mental‑health skills.
- Good working knowledge of refeeding dietary advice and the MEED Guidelines.
- Confidence in carrying out dietary assessments of children and working with families.
- Desire to develop skills within the mental health domain or to enhance paediatric skills.
The service currently operates Monday to Friday (flexibly between 8:00–18:00). Applications for flexible working or reduced hours are welcome. The role is based in Epsom with a hub in Aldershot.
