Job Summary
Please note this position does not offer any home working. At the moment we are looking for clinicians to cover the night shifts. Here at Practice Plus Group, we have an excellent opportunity to join our team as a Clinical Advisor and build on your nursing or paramedic experience, and continue to deliver outstanding patient care without the physical demand of acute work.
We offer competitive rates, equivalent to band 7 and band 8a. Typically, a Clinical Advisor could earn anywhere between £51,400 to £56,140 working full‑time equivalent of 37.5 hours per week.
- Pay: £24.47 per hour (7am‑11pm) and £27.83 per hour (11pm‑7am), with further pay enhancements of £30.60 per hour when working between Friday 18:00 to Monday 7:00am. Please note that the weekend rate is guaranteed but it is not contractual, it is just an incentive for working unsociable hours.
- Any training hours will be paid at £24.47 per hour.
- 25 days annual leave, increasing with service up to 28 days per year + bank holidays.

- You will be required to speak with patients and provide them with telephone triage using the NHS Pathways systems.
- Use of your clinical knowledge will be key in order to make decisions on the most appropriate action to take as well as home‑care advice to callers.

111 we get calls about anything and everything, hence no two days will be the same. However you will receive a lot of support from the software systems as well as your team. - We offer set shift patterns so you’ll always know when you’ll be working.

- Full‑time:
Monday‑Friday (9:30am‑5pm) for 4 weeks. - Part‑time:
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (6pm‑9.30pm) and Saturday‑Sunday (9:30am‑5pm) for 6 weeks.
You must be able to attend every training day. This is followed by a further eight weeks support before you can be signed off to work on your own.
About Us- Significant post‑registration training/consolidation and experience série.
- 2 years experience in adult acute or primary/community care.
- Strong understanding of patient management in primary or secondary care.
- Clinical decision‑making capabilities and ability to demonstrate critical thinking.
- Experience of working independently.
- UK Registered Nurse (NMC) or Primeiro Paramedic (HCPC) with appropriate post‑registration acute primary‑care experience.
- Excellent listening and communication skills, with good IT and keyboard skills.
- A real passion for providing outstanding patient care, with a commitment to making the most of continuous learning within a well‑structured, well‑supported team.

111 Clinical Advisor will be responsible for assessing callers with a wide spectrum of clinical conditions; advising them on home‑care management, next steps and referring them to further care when appropriate. The computer‑based clinical decision system facilitates and supports the advice given. NHS
111 clinical advisors are required to work as part of a multidisciplinary team within the service, providing high‑quality, evidence‑based healthcare to the immediate needs of the patient. You will demonstrate a commitment to a high‑quality service, excellence in clinical practice and continuous professional development, which are all integral to the role and the development of the service.
- Registered Nurse or Paramedic.
