Hospital Account Manager – ScotlandAs a Hospital Account Manager you will manage hospital accounts across the United Kingdom. You will build strong, trusted relationships with hospital pharmacists, clinicians, and procurement teams. You will work with cross‑functional colleagues to support patient‑focused solutions and local patient care improvements. In this role you will- Develop and maintain trusted relationships with hospital pharmacists, clinicians, and procurement teams in your territory.
- Execute account plans that support local hospital needs, improve patient care, and drive agreed objectives.
- Work with colleagues across medical, market access, and commercial teams to deliver cohesive customer engagement.
- Provide clear, accurate clinical and product information to support informed local decisions.
- Track activity, measure outcomes, and report progress against local goals and key performance indicators.
- Support local quality improvement or service development projects that benefit patient pathways.
You will bring a strong track record and a passion for patient‑centred care.
BasicQualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in hospital account management, clinical pharmacy/nursing, or hospital sales within the UK healthcare setting.
- Strong relationship‑building skills with hospital stakeholders, including pharmacists and clinicians.
- Good understanding of NHS structures and hospital decision‑making pathways.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to engage clinical audiences.
- Ability to plan, prioritise and manage a defined territory, including travel across Scotland.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Clinical background as a pharmacist or nurse with hospital experience.
- Knowledge of hospital procurement and formulary processes.
- Familiarity with digital and remote engagement tools for healthcare professionals.
- Experience in therapeutic areas relevant to hospital care.
- ABPI certification preferred.
- Experience in respiratory and/or vaccines preferred.
This role is field based across the United Kingdom. The role is hybrid with a mix of remote working and in‑hospital or customer‑facing activity. Regular travel across your assigned territory is required, and occasional national travel for training or team meetings may be expected.
