St. Joseph’s/Candler Health System is seeking an inpatient coder to finalize coding for acute care, mother/baby, inpatient rehab and SNF.
You will abstract and assign ICD-10-CM/PCS and CPT/HCPCS codes, validate DRG groupings, and ensure POA indicators meet national quality measures. Responsibilities include querying physicians post-discharge to clarify documentation, maintaining AHIMA and AAPC standards, and collaborating with the CDI team while working remotely in a HIPAA compliant home
