The Deborah Heart and Lung Center is seeking a professional health information coder to review and code patient records for inpatients and outpatients, assigning ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS codes, and verifying CPT-4 codes, DRGs and APCs.
This remote role requires 1–3 years of acute care coding experience, RHIA, RHIT, CCS, or CCA certification, and an Associate's in Health Information Technology. The position offers a competitive hourly rate, full-time remote schedule, and comprehensive benefits.
