Position: Nutrition & Dietary Habits Annotator
Compensation: $30 - $40/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 30-40 hrs/week
Role Responsibilities- Annotate food items, portion sizes, meal composition, and nutrient content from text, images, or logs.
- Classify dietary patterns such as macronutrient balance, meal timing, and dietary restrictions/preferences.
- Verify accuracy of nutritional data against trusted references like food composition databases.
- Identify and flag mislabeled, inconsistent, or culturally ambiguous food entries.
- Apply and help refine annotation guidelines for diverse cuisines and dietary contexts.
- Maintain consistency and quality benchmarks across large annotation batches.
- Have a background in nutrition, dietetics, food science, or a related field.
- Be familiar with food composition databases and dietary assessment methods.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail, especially with portion estimation and food categorization.
- Be comfortable working with annotation tools, spreadsheets, or structured data formats.
