We are seeking a pro-active and organised HR professional to join our team as an HR Case Manager for our branches in Newcastle, Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Elgin. Pay: £35,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus car allowance

The role As a Regional HR Case Manager, you will be the trusted advisor for all employee relations matters across your operational region, working closely with managers and colleagues to resolve a wide range of employee relations matters. You will manage a diverse caseload that includes disciplinary, grievance, absence, and performance management cases, ensuring they are handled fairly, consistently, and in line with both employment law and company policy.

Your responsibilities will include supporting investigations, advising Hearing Chairs, and ensuring cases are appropriately escalated. You will also manage Occupational Health referrals and oversee accurate HR system records. In addition, you will contribute to reviewing and improving HR policies and processes, ensuring they remain robust, compliant, and fit for purpose. You will help to build the confidence and capability of managers to handle challenging people issues, while also ensuring risks are managed and outcomes are balanced.

Youll identify training needs and provide practical, hands-on guidance to resolve disputes and mitigate risks. From time to time, you will also be involved in wider HR projects, including TUPE, reorganisations, and change initiatives, supporting both operational teams and HR colleagues across the business. About you This role calls for a confident and knowledgeable HR professional with proven experience in managing employee relations cases, including grievance, disciplinary, absence, and performance management.

You will have a strong grasp of employment law and the ability to interpret legislation into practical advice that balances compliance with commercial outcomes. To succeed in this role, you will need excellent communication skills, the ability to quickly build trust, and the confidence to influence and challenge managers when needed. You should also bring a proactive and solutions-focused approach, with the ability to manage a varied caseload while maintaining high standards of accuracy and consistency.

You will be comfortable working both independently and as part of a wider HR team, contributing to shared goals and supporting colleagues across different regions when required. A willingness to travel within your assigned region is essential.
