HR Consultant - Hybrid Milton Keynes

Salary: £45,000 to £60,000 depending on experience

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm

Location:

Milton Keynes, hybrid (home based with travel to clients)

Benefits: 25 days holiday, pension, sick pay

Francesca's Recruitment Ltd is working in partnership with a leading UK consultancy specialising in Employment Law, HR and Health and Safety support for SMEs. We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Consultant to join their team in a varied and fast‑paced role where you will play a key part in shaping business success through strategic people solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivering effective HR strategies that support performance and business growth
  • Building strong and trusted relationships with clients and key stakeholders
  • Managing the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, development and succession planning
  • Providing expert employee relations advice and coaching managers through complex cases
  • Ensuring compliance with employment law, policies and regulatory requirements
  • Using HR metrics and data to support decision making
  • Supporting organisational development initiatives alongside the Head of HR
  • Managing disciplinary matters, grievances and flexible working applications
  • Conducting fair and thorough investigations when required
Requirements
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification (Level 7 preferred)
  • Five to ten years' experience in a similar HR role
  • Proven background as a Senior HR Generalist
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
  • Full driving licence and access to a vehicle for client visits
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem‑solving skills
  • Confident in conflict resolution, influencing and using data to support decisions
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a fast‑moving team
