The Geotechnical Sub Alliance (GSA) is proud to play a crucial part in delivering the Sizewell C nuclear power station — one of the UK’s most significant infrastructure projects. Our team focuses on advanced geotechnical works including piling, diaphragm walling, soil mixing, grouting and more, using specialist equipment and a collaborative alliance model.
We are now seeking a highly organised and proactive Recruitment & HR Administrator to join our HR team and support our growing workforce as the project continues to scale.
About the roleAs a Recruitment & HR Administrator
, you will provide essential administrative support across all HR and Recruitment functions. From coordinating interviews and managing onboarding, to supporting visa processes and ensuring compliant right‑to‑work documentation, you’ll play a key role in creating a smooth employee experience.
This is a varied, fast‑paced role ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives on organisation, and takes pride in delivering high‑quality support.
Key Responsibilities Recruitment Support- Track and monitor applications throughout the recruitment lifecycle
- Screen CVs and coordinate candidate feedback
- Schedule interviews and support hiring managers with admin tasks
- Triage the Recruitment Inbox
- Work closely with the Recruitment Manager to ensure a smooth process
- Liaise with overseas Group Companies to obtain required visa documentation
- Work with Immigration Advisors to support visa submissions
- Conduct right‑to‑work checks and maintain compliant records
- Liaise with the Home Office and immigration agencies as needed
- Act as the first point of contact for visitors, new starters, and agency workers
- Coordinate onboarding tasks such as IT equipment collection, medical appointments, and site integration support
- Assist with ongoing support for UK‑based and international employees
- Handle telephone and email enquiries on behalf of the HR team
- Draft correspondence including emails, letters, and employee communications
- Prepare contracts of employment and update the HR system for new starters
- Manage pre‑boarding requirements (IT, fleet, medicals, vetting)
- Process changes to terms and conditions
- Ensure all employee medical certifications are up to date
- Triage the HR email Inbox
- Provide wider office administration support as required
- Previous administration and data entry experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and planning capability
- Ability to build positive working relationships at all levels
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel essential)
- Positive, resilient, and confident approach
- Experience in HR or Recruitment administration
- Customer-facing background
- Ability to speak French
