Ops Generalist

For our client, we are seeking a People Ops Generalist to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space.

This role will support the full spectrum of people operations in a fast-growing, fully remote environment. You will help ensure payroll, compliance, and employee support run smoothly while contributing to a strong employee experience across the organization. The position also plays an important role in building scalable systems and improving processes as the company continues to grow.

Location:

Remote

Compensation: $115,000+ annually

• Run bi-weekly payroll accurately and on time using Gusto and Deel
• Manage compliance across multiple states for payroll taxes and workers' compensation
• Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions and employee relations issues
• Assist employees with benefits, leaves, and accommodations
• Continuously update HR policies to align with growth and legal changes
• Oversee and improve onboarding and offboarding processes
• Automate repeatable People Ops tasks using AI tools

• 4-7+ years of experience in People Operations or HR, preferably in a fast-growing startup
• Experience managing multi-state payroll and compliance
• Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws, including FMLA and ADA
• Exceptional attention to detail, especially regarding payroll accuracy
• Discreet and empathetic, trusted with sensitive employee situations
• Ability to build and streamline systems, with a focus on automation
• Experience thriving in a fully remote, fast-paced environment
