As a Functional Consultant at our client Netherlands, you will play a dual role as both architect and leader. You will focus on developing conceptually strong and efficient, top‑quality solutions within the domain of either FICO, PP or EWM. In this role you can keep the bigger picture in mind and make it central to your decision‑making. You are not only a subject matter expert but also a leader who stays up‑to‑date with the latest developments.

You inspire and convince both clients and colleagues about the best way to execute solutions, and you can facilitate the process yourself. By challenging existing solutions, you help elevate the organization to a higher level. You are a driving force that brings people, solutions, and projects together. You also play a key role in presales processes and improvement initiatives. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

As a Functional Consultant, you have extensive experience and are comfortable working independently on end‑to‑end projects.

Demonstrable project experience is required.

3+ years’ experience as a SAP Functional Consultant.

Preferably a minimum of 2 full‑cycle SAP implementations concluded is required - in either of the following SAP Modules: FICO, PP or EWM.

SAP Certifications are a bonus.

Blueprint experience is beneficial, but not essential.

Customization and configuration experience is a must.

You have the ability to independently work on a SAP (FICO, PP, EWM) project from blueprint (or configurations) to go‑live, including workshops and Hyper Care.

Knowledge of S/4

HANA and Fiori within the Finance domain (For FICO).

You are a strong communicator in Afrikaans & English.

You can translate business processes into a concrete functional solution.

You can take on a lead role to convince others of the chosen solutions.

You are a true big‑picture thinker and strategist.

You enjoy taking things to the next level.

You are comfortable playing a crucial role in presales processes and improvement initiatives and are capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
