What Is the Opportunity?
We seek a skilled Consulting Technology Engineer with AWS and Automation experience to manage Travelers’ Wide Area Networks in Redhill, Surrey. Responsibilities include designing, deploying, maintaining, and supporting network infrastructure, supporting connectivity for 30,000+ employees and partners, and providing hands-on support as needed.
What Will You Do?
- Design, analyze, configure, and troubleshoot WAN, cloud, and on-prem network infrastructure.
- Implement network solutions supporting various environments including cloud VPNs, data centers, remote offices.
- Maintain network service quality, monitor hardware/software, and respond to issues.
- Provide local support in UK, support troubleshooting, and collaborate across teams.
- Document infrastructure, present updates to management, and manage projects within budget.
What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?
- Experience in Technology and as a technical lead preferred.
- Knowledge of infrastructure technologies like Network, Database, Server, Storage.
Preferred Technical Skills
- Experience with AWS/GCP, Cisco routing/switching, SD-WAN, automation scripting (Terraform, Python).
- Knowledge of telecommunications, WAN, LAN, routing protocols, QoS, disaster recovery.
Must Have
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related, with 5+ years in Technology, or Master’s with 3+ years.
