Generative AI Engineer - Build & Deploy Real-World AI Models (UK Remote Contract)

In this role, you'll collaborate with senior AI professionals to develop, implement, and scale generative AI models that solve real business problems. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with solid technical foundations who wants to push the boundaries of AI in production environments.

• Supporting the design and development of generative AI solutions across varied projects
• Writing and optimising code using tools like Tensor Flow, PyTorch, and deploying via Databricks, Snowflake, and the Azure platform
• Integrating large language models (LLMs) into scalable production environments
• Championing best practices in version control (Git), Docker, and CI/CD
• Ensuring compliance with robust data governance, privacy, and ethical AI frameworks

• Strong coding ability in AI/ML with a focus on generative AI and prompt engineering
• Experience deploying models in cloud environments, especially Azure
• Solid understanding of containerisation and development tools
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in cross‑functional settings

• Certifications in AI/ML, data engineering, or cloud technologies
• Experience with enterprise data privacy and security frameworks
