Tasksand Responsibilities
- Software design, implementation, documentation, unit tests, module tests, and debugging in a multiline release cycle
- Design, implement, and maintain secure firmware components using Qt, C++, C, and bash scripting
- Implement and integrate cybersecurity features including secure boot, encryption, and authentication mechanisms
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for firmware components and security implementations
- Develop and execute security-focused test plans
- Contribute to continuous improvement of secure development processes and tools
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer engineering, electronics engineering, or related technical field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in embedded firmware development with security focus
- Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming language with secure coding practices
- Familiarity with bash scripting and Linux system-level programming
- Solid knowledge of cybersecurity principles, cryptography, and secure coding practices
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines
- Very good command of English and Turkish
- Digital signatures and certificates (X.509, PKI infrastructure, certificate management)
- Symmetric and asymmetric encryption (AES, RSA, ECC implementation and key management)
- Secure elements and TPM integration (hardware security modules, secure key storage)
- Experience with Secure boot and trusted execution environments (TEE)
- Firmware integrity verification and secure firmware update mechanisms (fail-safe OTA updates, rollback protection, delta updates)
- Familiarity with EU cybersecurity regulations and standards is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking with a security mindset
- Strong attention to detail, particularly regarding security implications and threat modeling
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative security-focused team
- Excellent communication skills to explain complex security concepts
- Proactive approach to identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities
- Commitment to writing clean, maintainable, and secure code
