Ops Engineer at Metaregistrar in Gouda! Manage and improve servers, networks, and cloud environments. 32–40 hrs, hybrid work, €2500 training budget.

As a (dev)
Ops engineer you are responsible for:

• Managing our virtual and physical servers
• Doing deploys for our software stack
• Maintaining and further improving our server and network infrastructure
• Help migrate customers to and from different infrastructure like Openstack, Kubernetes, AWS and other environments.
• Solve issues and help improve our platforms

This position is for 32-40 hours a week. There is an On-call component to this position. Working from home is possible, there is a requirement to be in the Gouda office once a week.

A team player, eager to learn, initiative and a positive attitude

Good grasp of the English language

Drivers license (valid in NL)

Experience with Linux distros (Debian, Almalinux, etc.)

LPIC-2 is a plus

Experience with server hardware & datacenters

Experience with Ansible or similar tools

• Experience with virtualization technology such as Openstack, Xen, Docker, etc.
• Experience with hosting services such as MySQL, Apache, nginx, DNS, PHP, mail.
• Experience with routers & firewalls, spam filters, hosting platforms are a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience
