DevOps Engineer; Mid​/Senior

Overview

Test Driven Solutions Ltd is a software consultancy based in Newcastle, UK with a hybrid office. We are looking for a mid/senior Dev Ops Engineer to support clients across private and public sectors.

• Work in cross‑functional teams with clients, supporting delivery of initiatives.
• Contribute to design, development and operations of internal applications.
• Communicate effectively internally and externally.
• Promote TDS values and advocate best practices in software development, including XP, agility, Dev Ops and CI/CD.
• Grow the company through recruitment efforts.
• Mentor staff, grow technical and consultancy skills.
• Participate in internal product and systems development.

• At least 5 years’ professional experience in a cloud environment using AWS.
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, Cloud Formation and Ansible.
• Experience with a Dev Ops‑friendly programming language (Python, Go or JavaScript/Node).
• Understanding of cloud IAM architecture and security implications.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging stacks such as Cloud Watch, Splunk, Grafana and Prometheus.
• Experience with secrets management tooling such as Vault or AWS Secrets Manager.
• Experience building continuous delivery pipelines using Git Hub Actions, Git Lab, Jenkins or Team City.
