GitHub Copilot Trainer

Overview

Join Modus Create as Lead Copilot Trainer. Remote I Europe | Contract. You will help engineering teams adopt Git Hub Copilot through live workshops, hands-on exercises, and customized training sessions. Deliver engaging, technical content that enables developers to integrate AI-assisted coding into their workflows for faster, higher-quality delivery. You will work with a global team to design, develop, and maintain training materials, staying current with the latest Copilot and AI developer tooling updates.

This role suits someone with strong presentation skills, experience as a technical trainer/presenter, hands-on technical experience, and a background in software development or developer education.

Experience Level: Senior Level

• Deliver live virtual (and occasional onsite) Git Hub Copilot training
• Create hands-on exercises, examples, and training content
• Tailor sessions to different technical levels and roles
• Support long-term Copilot usage and adoption
• Stay current with AI-assisted coding tools

• Strong presentation and facilitation skills with engaging delivery style
• Excellent verbal and written English; ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly
• Proven track record delivering technical training or workshops, preferably in software development topics
• Hands-on experience with Git Hub Copilot
• Comfortable working with macOS and Windows
• Strong familiarity with Visual Studio Code and its integrations
• Working knowledge of Python and JavaScript; experience with additional programming languages is a plus
• Experience creating training content
• Ability to adapt training approach for different learning styles and technical levels
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills
• Available to work within the 4am–12pm US Eastern timezone window, with occasional flexibility as needed

• Software development background: understanding of modern development workflows, Git/Git Hub, and coding best practices
• Experience with .NET, React.js, or Type Script
• Familiarity with other AI coding assistants and developer productivity tools

• Overlap with some 4am – 12pm US Eastern hours; daily hours expected
• Remote-first with supportive collaboration and opportunities to engage with thought leaders in emerging tech
