Senior Data Consultant – Intelligent Infrastructure

We’re growing our Intelligent Infrastructure – Systems & Data Architecture capability to meet the rising demand for data‑driven solutions across transport, urban planning, environmental monitoring, and public services. From autonomous vehicles and digital twins to climate resilience and smart cities, our work spans sectors where data makes a real difference.

As a Senior Data Consultant you will help deliver high‑impact programmes for clients such as National Highways, the Danish Road Directorate and other public sector organisations. You’ll work with data from traffic flows, environmental sensors, geospatial systems, citizen services and infrastructure networks to solve complex problems and guide strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the design and lead tasks within delivery of data engineering, analytics and reporting solutions across varied domains.
  • Collaborate with clients, partners and supply chains to tackle technical and operational challenges.
  • Explore and model data from diverse sources—transport, spatial, environmental and operational—to uncover insights.
  • Shape data strategies and roadmaps, and design solutions that align with client goals.
  • Provide technical assurance and act as a trusted advisor across projects.
  • Contribute to proposals and help shape delivery plans in multi‑disciplinary environments.
  • Champion data excellence across the team and global networks, mentoring others and sharing best practices.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • Proven ability to deliver technical tasks independently within data projects.
  • Strong client‑facing skills: requirements gathering, presenting insights, facilitating solution testing.
  • Experience conducting discovery activities and engaging stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical mindset with a creative approach to problem‑solving.
  • Proficiency in tools such as SQL, Python, Azure and Power BI.
  • Experience with spatial data analysis, GIS tools and working with varied datasets (e.g., sensor data, operational data, public service data).
  • Understanding of data management and governance best practices, along with familiarity with documentation standards.
