OpenShift Engineer Ansible - Home Office - Zürich

We are seeking a talented and experienced Open Shift Engineer to join our dynamic team on a 6-month extendable contract. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, configuring, and optimizing our Open Shift environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the stability, performance, and scalability of our containerized applications.

Tasks

• Open Shift Management :
  Install, configure, and manage Open Shift clusters in production and development environments.
• Automation with Ansible :
  Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks for automated deployments, configurations, and management tasks.
• Performance Optimization :
  Monitor and optimize the performance of Open Shift clusters, ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Troubleshooting :
  Diagnose and resolve issues related to Open Shift infrastructure and application deployments.
• Collaboration :
  Work closely with development, operations, and Dev Ops teams to integrate Open Shift solutions that meet business needs.
• Documentation :
  Create and maintain detailed documentation for Open Shift configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
• Security Compliance :
  Implement and maintain security best practices within Open Shift environments.

Requirements

• Experience :
  Proven experience in managing and supporting Open Shift environments.
• Ansible Proficiency :
  Strong knowledge of Ansible for automation of deployment and configuration tasks.
• Containerization :
  Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Cloud Technologies :
  Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid cloud environments.
• Problem-Solving :
  Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Language :
  Fluency in German is mandatory.
