We’re seeking a skilled SharePoint Administrator to join our new Small Projects Team. You’ll take on varied short‑term engagements (typically 1‑5 days), managing SharePoint Online configuration, site setup, permissions management, and reporting for our diverse client base. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys hands‑on technical work, variety in projects, and the flexibility of remote working.

• Design, configure, and manage SharePoint Online environments, including site collections, hub sites, and communication sites
• Administer user access, permissions, and security settings across SharePoint platforms
• Create and manage SharePoint governance policies and implement best practices
• Generate reports on site usage, storage, permissions audits, and compliance
• Set up and configure libraries, lists, and basic workflows
• Manage permissions and access controls using Entra n
• Provide technical support and guidance to end‑users
• Troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint‑related issues
• Support M365 integration, including Teams, One Drive, and Exchange
• Document configurations and maintain technical specifications

• 2‑3 years’ experience administering SharePoint Online
• Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, governance, and best practices
• Proficiency with permissions, security, and access management
• Experience with M365 suite (Teams, One Drive, Exchange)
• Ability to manage multiple priorities on concurrent short‑term projects
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills
• Knowledge of Entra  user management
• Comfortable with command‑line tools and technical troubleshooting
• Self‑motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment
• Understanding of data loss prevention (DLP) policies and implementation
• Metadata management and content classification
• Ability to provide user training and support materials
• Power Shell scripting for SharePoint administration and bulk operations
• Microsoft Purview knowledge, including sensitivity labels and data labelling
• Experience with retention policies and compliance configurations
• Knowledge of site migration and data management
• Familiarity with GDPR and compliance requirements in M365
• Experience with SharePoint Designer
• Basic understanding of REST APIs and webhooks
• Power Automate and Power Apps experience
• Training delivery and documentation skills

You’re pragmatic, detail‑oriented, and enjoy solving configuration challenges. You work well independently but communicate clearly with stakeholders. You’re comfortable learning new aspects of M365 and stay current with Microsoft updates. You have a proactive approach to permissions management and governance, and you can translate technical requirements into practical SharePoint solutions.
