L&E is a leading actuarial consulting firm with over 50 actuaries nationwide, a largely remote, high-talent workforce. Since 1968, we've delivered expert services in life, health, and property & casualty insurance. We're expanding our innovation efforts with a new role focused on applying generative AI to our consulting processes—and we're seeking a developer who combines technical precision with forward-thinking problem-solving.

• Build and maintain tools powered by large language models (LLMs) to support compliance tracking, regulatory interpretation, and document generation.
• Source, extract, and organize regulatory content (e.g., statutes, guidance, filings) to inform structured AI inputs and context-aware outputs.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to transform domain-specific workflows into AI-powered tools using RAG pipelines, APIs, or lightweight internal apps (e.g., Streamlit, Flask).
• Design prompts, templates, and structured queries to improve model accuracy and minimize hallucinations or compliance risks.
• Evaluate emerging GenAI tools and recommend technologies to improve efficiency, reliability, and explainability.
• Support end-to-end development of both experimental prototypes and production-ready systems.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (Master's preferred).
• 3+ years of development experience, including at least 1 year working with AI APIs, NLP pipelines, or knowledge-based systems.
• Proficient in Python, with familiarity in JavaScript/Type Script, API integration, and data handling.
• Experience structuring unstructured or semi-structured content—ideally legal, regulatory, or document-heavy data.
• Comfortable with Git and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP); experience with Lang Chain, Llama Index, or vector databases is a plus.
• Strong English communication skills (C1+), with the ability to work independently in a fully remote, collaborative team.

• 24,000 - 32,000 TRY (net), based on experience and qualifications.
• Fully remote position with flexible scheduling coordinated around U.S. Central Time core hours.
