We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team supporting one of the world’s largest payment systems. In this role, you will be responsible for developing data marts and data pipelines that power critical reporting services.
Your Responsibilities- Develop and maintain data pipelines using Hadoop, PySpark, and Airflow to ensure efficient and reliable data processing.
- Design and build data marts that support reporting and analytics needs for our payment system clients.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver anonymized datasets to banks and other clients upon request.
- Write advanced SQL queries for data analysis, supporting both internal and client-driven analytical needs.
- (Optional) Participate in data visualization and dashboarding tasks using Tableau, analyzing and presenting data insights as needed.
Required
- Strong experience with SQL and Python
. - Hands-on experience with Hadoop, PySpark, and Airflow
. - Ability to analyze and process large-scale datasets.
- Good communication skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Readiness to business trip to UAE, Saudi Arabia if needed.
- Proficiency in English.
- Experience working with enterprise customers in Fintech.
- Experience with Tableau or similar data visualization tools.
- Proficiency in Arabic.
