We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join Computershare’s Risk and Compliance team as Technology & Information Security Risk Manager. This position can be based out of any of the above office locations.

Responsibilities

• Challenge the effectiveness of the controls and risk treatment plans implemented by the CCT Technology Group.
• Escalate concerns to management when risks are not adequately addressed.
• Stay up‑to‑date with internal standards and understand the strategic business plans/goals.
• Work cooperatively with internal, external auditors and examiners as needed.
• Communicate any regulatory changes impacting the CCT business to CCT Technology.
• Conduct risk and control assessments and prepare escalation reporting as necessary.
• Provide critical review of technology training.
• Oversee the quality and completeness of technology risk findings, remediation plans and exceptions.

Qualifications

The Senior Technology Risk Consultant will have significant experience in Technology Risk Management or equivalent technology experience in financial services. Experience in informing and educating employees and communicating with senior managers within Technology and Information Security groups is key.

The successful candidate will require excellent organisational skills and will be highly adept at multitasking within clearly defined timelines. In addition the role will require developed communication skills, providing clear written and/or verbal communications in response to technology developments, risk assessments and change management initiatives as well as inquiries from the CCT business and internal and external audits.

Excellent people / relationship‑building skills, and the ability to adopt tact and diplomacy when dealing with challenging initiatives or confidential projects.

Other Skills & Experience

• Professional certification preferred.
• Strong presentation, procedures and report‑writing skills.
• Excellent senior stakeholder management skills (work with CIOs and senior leaders).
• Successful track record as a technology or information security risk manager, with knowledge of operational and regulatory complexities.
• Experience in operational risk management an added benefit.

Due to the nature of the role, there may be a need to work out of normal hours and occasional travel to other locations.
