Infotel UK is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Microsoft Purview Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Microsoft Purview Specialist, you will play a key role in managing and governing data across our enterprise environment. You will utilize Microsoft Purview to catalog, classify, and enable data discoverability, ensuring that our data architecture supports business goals while adhering to compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement data governance frameworks using Microsoft Purview.
  • Catalog and classify datasets, ensuring accurate metadata tagging and usage tracking.
  • Collaborate with data owners and stakeholders to define and enforce data policies and standards.
  • Monitor and manage data lineage and data quality to ensure trustworthiness and compliance.
  • Provide training and support to users on data discovery and governance tools.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements related to data governance and management.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Microsoft Purview Specialist or in a similar role within data governance.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 E5 Purview and its capabilities.
  • Experience with data cataloging, classification, and governance best practices.
  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations and compliance standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
