• Salary : £35,000–£55,000 per year
• Hours :
  Fully remote, flexible 35 hours / week (140 hours / month)
• Schedule :
  Based around UK office hours

• Minimum 4 years of experience within the SEO industry.
• Proven managerial experience , either managing people directly or through project management.

We’re seeking a Head of Technical to join our dynamic team at Geeky Tech.

You’ll be the customer-facing Geek of the Technical Team, responsible for leading and overseeing all technical SEO activities. Your role will include running quality assurance on technical work, supporting the team, and communicating with clients to explain findings and next steps.

• Google Search Console, Analytics & Tag Manager setup with best practices.
• Technical website audits.
• Page optimisations.
• Conversion tracking (tag and measurement plans, implementation).
• SEO reporting (Looker Studio dashboards and monthly reports).
• Website migrations (pre- and post-migration with focus on organic traffic).
• Running client calls for audits, conversion tracking, and migrations.
• Delegating follow-up actions to the technical SEO team.

You’ll also drive improvement of existing services and may contribute to new service areas over time.

• You’ll report directly to the Head of Service Delivery (Chief Performance Officer) .
• The team holds weekly setup and review calls to discuss progress, troubleshoot, and share updates.
• You’ll also provide one-on-one support to team members weekly.
