Data Analyst – Public Sector – Rogerstone

Our client is seeking a Data Analyst to join their Research, Data and Intelligence team in this newly created role. This is an excellent opportunity to help turn complex data into meaningful insights that support policy, planning and service delivery across Wales.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse, cleanse and assure data from multiple sources, including Dynamics CRM
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that clearly present trends and performance
• Support data integration into Azure Data Services and Synapse Analytics
• Review and improve data collection and validation processes
• Use tools such as SQL and Power Automate to streamline data workflows
• Respond to ad‑hoc data queries and produce analytical reports
• Ensure data handling complies with information governance and security standards

Candidate Requirements

You will have experience working in a data analysis or analytical role, with strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate insights clearly to a range of audiences. You will be confident using Power BI and working with large data sets, and have a good understanding of data protection requirements.

• Degree or equivalent qualification, or relevant professional experience
• Experience in data analysis, statistical analysis or data science
• Strong analytical skills, including advanced Excel
• Experience presenting data insights to non‑technical audiences

Working Hours & Salary

Temporary, full‑time (36 hours p/w), hybrid role to start ASAP and required until mid‑June 2026. Pay rate: £15.32 per hour.

IT Service Delivery Data Analyst – Yolk Recruitment

This role will suit a detail‑driven, analytical professional who enjoys working with complex service data, influencing decisions, and improving processes across IT service management.

What You’ll Be Doing

Supporting IT service delivery by analysing and interpreting data across ITIL processes, working closely with service managers, partners and vendors.

Key Responsibilities

• Proven experience in data analysis, ideally focused on IT service or operational data.
• Strong knowledge of IT service management processes including incident, problem, change, service request, capacity, and availability management.
• Advanced skills in tools such as Excel, Power BI, or similar analytics platforms.
• Experience designing KPIs and performance metrics to measure service delivery and vendor performance.
• The ability to present complex data clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• A continuous improvement mindset, with the confidence to challenge processes and suggest better ways of working.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
