Network Analysis

Role Description

This is a contract-based hybrid role for a Network Analyst, requiring a presence in Edinburgh with the flexibility to work from home for part of the time. The role involves analyzing network systems to identify inefficiencies, responding to network issues, and implementing optimization strategies. Responsibilities include monitoring network performance, troubleshooting problems, documenting system changes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance network reliability and security.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Network Analysis and Performance Monitoring
• Experience in Network Troubleshooting, Diagnostics, and Optimization techniques
• Knowledge in Security Enhancements and Risk Mitigation related to networks
• Proficiency in the use of network analysis tools and technologies
• Excellent ability to document technical procedures and modifications
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work across teams
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is recommended
• Experience in a similar role and certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent would be advantageous
