Responsibilities:
- Managing & Upgrading the Current Infrastructure:
Oversee the maintenance and enhancement of existing systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. - Infrastructure Project Delivery:
Lead and contribute to various infrastructure projects, from initial planning through to implementation and completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. - 3rd Line Infrastructure Support:
Provide advanced technical support to resolve complex issues, working closely with other IT teams to maintain seamless operations. - On-Call Participation:
Be part of an on-call rota (1 in 3 weeks) to provide critical support outside of regular working hours, ensuring any urgent issues are swiftly addressed.
Skills/Must Have:
- Windows Server
Experience:
In-depth knowledge of Windows Server environments, including Active Directory and Group Policy, to manage and troubleshoot server-related issues. - VMware Technologies:
Hands-on experience with VMware technologies such as vSphere and vSAN, essential for managing virtualized environments. - Infrastructure Project Delivery:
Proven experience in delivering infrastructure projects, demonstrating the ability to manage resources, timelines, and deliverables effectively. - Security Clearance Eligibility:
Must be eligible to obtain security clearance, reflecting the sensitivity and importance of the work you will be undertaking.
