Assistant Digital Solutions Consultant (SharePoint & Power Platform)
Join WSP in the UK & Ireland as an Assistant Digital Solutions Consultant, specialising in SharePoint and Power Platform.
OverviewDigital technology is reshaping the water industry, enabling faster delivery, improved sustainability and higher quality outcomes. As a Digital Consultant, you will help our clients harness emerging technologies—such as Generative Design, Artificial Intelligence, Digital Twins and advanced analytics—to increase productivity across all stages of the asset lifecycle.
Responsibilities- Use Python to automate repeatable tasks, transform datasets, validate data quality and prototype logic complementary to low‑code solutions.
- Build and enhance SharePoint Online sites, lists, libraries and metadata structures to support digital workflows and document/data management.
- Develop and maintain Power Automate flows, including approvals, notifications, data movement, scheduled jobs and governance‑friendly automation.
- Support data visualisation through Power
BI, including data manipulation in Power Query and communicating insights to stakeholders. - Provide clear documentation and maintainable scripts to support teams.
- Facilitate discovery sessions to understand pain points and collaborate on solution development.
- Lead the adoption and embedding of digital tools within teams, challenging existing approaches and driving continuous improvement.
- Undergraduate or higher degree in a relevant discipline, or equivalent professional experience and qualifications.
- Good knowledge of programming languages and data integration tools such as Python and FME.
- Experience managing data and using data to drive decision‑making.
- Strong communication skills to understand team requirements, influence behaviours and foster a culture of innovation.
- A clear appreciation of a variety of programming languages, visualisation, modelling and automation packages and their interoperability.
