We are looking to recruit an experienced Data Governance Analyst to join our established team. Reporting to our Performance & Assurance Manager, the Data Governance Analyst will support data quality, security and compliance initiatives.
Role focus
:
Support data governance tasks, collaborate with data owners, data stewards and data analysts to ensure data is properly defined, documented and governed across the organisation, and assist with data analysis, reporting and related transformation projects.
Key responsibilities include: assist with data governance tasks such as data cataloguing, data lineage, data policy enforcement, data issue resolution and data reporting; support the Data Governance Lead to deliver high quality data analysis and reporting and drive MSV’s digital transformation project work, particularly the Stronger Business project work; provide specialist support to the Performance team in relation to data analysis and reporting;
assist with the implementation of a staff training system and document business processes related to data governance.
- Assist with data governance tasks such as data cataloguing, data lineage, data policy enforcement, data issue resolution and data reporting.
- Collaborate with data owners, data stewards and data analysts to ensure data is properly defined, documented and governed across the organisation.
- Support the Data Governance Lead to deliver high quality data analysis and reporting and drive MSV's digital transformation project work, particularly the Stronger Business project work.
- Provide specialist support to the Performance team in relation to data analysis and reporting, providing quality data that will influence change to the business.
- Assist with the implementation of a staff training system and document business processes related to data governance.
- Good knowledge of data governance, data quality and data management.
- Experience and understanding of KPIs and Performance Management.
- Knowledge of data governance principles, frameworks and methodologies.
- Strong communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent data analysis skills with the ability to produce accurate and transparent reporting to support many projects.
- Previous experience working within the social housing sector is desirable.
