What you’ll do
As a Business Application Specialist (LIMS), you will play a key role in supporting, maintaining, and expanding our global Laboratory Information Management System (Lab Vantage LIMS). You will act as the technical point of contact for the application, ensuring system stability, data integrity, and continuous improvement.

In this role, you will:

• Provide technical support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for the Labvantage LIMS application.
• Work with internal stakeholders and experts to gather business needs and translate them into technical specifications.
• Assist with development, testing, and implementation of software solutions and system integrations in collaboration with the LIMS vendor.
• Ensure data integrity and database management, supporting SQL-based solutions.
• Provide ongoing user training and support to ensure effective system adoption.
• Support the expansion of LIMS into new countries and integration with other business systems as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including laboratories, IT, and business experts, to improve system performance and usability.

Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for a proactive, accountable professional who enjoys working in a global, technical environment and is ready to take ownership of a critical business application.

You’ll also need:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in software development, IT systems management, or business application support
• Strong background in Java and SQL development
• Experience with LIMS systems (Lab Vantage preferred) or laboratory-related applications
• Solid understanding of relational databases, ideally Microsoft SQL Server
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex requirements into practical solutions
• Excellent communication skills and experience working with diverse, international stakeholders
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
• Availability for occasional international travel (up to 25%)
