Job summary:

As a Specialist - IT/OT Infrastructure, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining robust and secure network architectures for our customers' industrial OT environments. Your role will include implementing segmentation strategies, applying cybersecurity best practices, and performing audits and analysis to ensure system compliance and resilience. You will also contribute to the evolution of network models (including approaches such as the "Perdue" model) and intervene on traditional IT infrastructures when required.

This position requires in-depth expertise in networking and an understanding of issues specific to industrial environments.

The position may have a teleworking component. However, due to the on-the-ground nature of the expertise required, frequent travel to customer sites is to be expected.

Main responsibilities:
  • Design and implement secure network architectures for industrial IoT environments, in line with best practices.
  • Map networks, including asset inventories, topology diagrams and VLAN descriptions.
  • Implement network segmentation (or micro-segmentation) strategies to limit risks and ensure the resilience of critical systems.
  • Deploy and maintain advanced security models, such as Zero Trust and industrial DMZs.
  • Configure and manage network equipment (switches, firewalls, VPN, etc.) in accordance with the defined architecture.
  • Carry out security and compliance audits on IT and OT infrastructures, including documentation of discrepancies and recommendations.
  • Work with operational and production teams to integrate network and security solutions without disrupting industrial processes.
  • Set up network monitoring systems.
  • Train and raise awareness among in-house teams of networking and cybersecurity best practices in industrial environments.
Technical requirements:
  • College or university degree in engineering or information technology.
    • Any combination of training and experience deemed equivalent will be considered.
  • Mastery of advanced networking concepts (segmentation, VLAN, routing, firewall, VPN) and industrial protocols (Modbus, OPC UA, Ether Net/IP).
  • Experience in designing and deploying secure IT/OT architectures, including DMZ zones and Zero Trust / Perdue models.
  • Cybersecurity skills applied to industrial environments, including audits, equipment hardening and access management.
  • Ability to diagnose and solve complex network problems in hybrid environments (corporate IT + industrial OT).
Assets:
  • Experience in industrial environments (manufacturing, automation, SCADA) and understanding of OT constraints.
  • Recognized certifications (Cisco CCNP, Fortinet NSE, IEC 62443, CISSP, etc.) demonstrating expertise in networking and cybersecurity.
  • Knowledge of industry standards (IEC 62443, ISA-95, NIST) for security and IT/OT integration.
  • Experience in segmentation projects and secure architecture (zones, conduits, DMZ, Zero Trust) in an OT context.
Skills:
  • Ability to popularize technical concepts for non-specialized audiences.
  • Ability to quickly diagnose complex situations and propose effective solutions.
  • React effectively in critical environments where operational continuity is essential.
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and manage several projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
