On behalf of our Utilities client, Procom is searching for a Systems Analyst - STARS for a contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Edmonton office.

- Job Description:


Procom is recruiting for an experienced Systems Analyst to support our STARS billing area. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the existing code base, providing operational support, and developing enhancements to the system. The candidate should be a fast learner with an aptitude for understanding and maintaining complex systems.

Systems Analyst - Responsibilities:

• Develop, design, maintain, and document complex applications and systems supporting key business activities

• Provide operational support

• Write complex queries, optimize performance, and manage stored procedures

• Write modular, efficient code for data engineering

• Utilize Azure Data Factory and PySpark for data processing and notebook workflows

Systems Analyst - Mandatory

Skills:



• Experience with PL/SQL (Oracle)

• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory

• Proficient in PySpark and Python

• Experience with UNIX/Linux

• Java and/or .Net knowledge

• Experience in Oracle Middleware development or administration

Systems Analyst - Nice-to-Have

Skills:



• Experience with workflow products

• Knowledge of Oracle OSB / SOA

• Familiarity with Oracle Forms and Reports

• Experience in billing systems

The contract is until Dec 2026, with the possibility of an extension.
