Software Application Developer- £60K - Fully Remote

A long-established SaaS company that helps organizations protect their people, culture, and operations is looking for a Software Application Developer to join its Support division. The company's software is used by major enterprises to manage millions of sensitive workplace and security cases.

In this remote-first role, you'll collaborate with the programming team and project personnel to build, test, and implement business process automation solutions, while also supporting customers after implementation. The work spans full-stack development, troubleshooting, and contributing to ongoing product evolution.

• Full-stack development using JavaScript, Node.js, and Backbone.js
• Update and modify SQL-based database structures
• Review, troubleshoot, and resolve assigned support tickets
• Provide technical support to customers via email and phone
• Ensure requests are handled within established SLAs
• Debug application issues and verify fixes
• Manage Git Hub branches and code changes
• Deploy application updates using Docker on a Linux environment
• Contribute to product improvements and continuously learn new technologies
• Maintain strong security awareness and adhere to industry standards

• Degree in computer science (university or college)
• Full-stack JavaScript experience with Node.js and Express
• Strong skills in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Experience working directly with end users or customers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies
• Experience with Backbone.js

• Experience with NGINX, Bootstrap, jQuery, Postgre
  
  SQL, Redis, Elastic Search, Mocha, and Git
• Portfolio, demos, or Git Hub code samples
