Lead Dev Ops Engineer (Fully Remote) - Climate Tech Start-Up
Lead Dev Ops Engineer required for a high-growth climate tech start-up. This is a fully remote role , with optional access to offices in London and Cambridge . You’ll take ownership of cloud infrastructure and Dev Ops strategy, helping scale a platform that delivers real-world climate impact.
What you’ll do- Own and evolve our cloud infrastructure as we scale
- Design, build, and maintain secure, resilient CI / CD pipelines
- Lead Dev Ops strategy across reliability, observability, and cost optimisation
- Partner closely with product and engineering to ship faster and safer
- Mentor engineers and help set best-practice standards
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Dev Ops Engineer
- Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS / GCP / Azure)
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Cloud Formation, etc.)
- Kubernetes, containers, and modern CI / CD tooling
- A pragmatic mindset and passion for clean, reliable systems
- Fully remote-first culture (UK-based team)
