Dataroid is in search of a Dev Ops Engineer
, who will be responsible for the overall health of multiple applications and their operating environments while interacting with development team members to design and deliver the applications with high availability and stability. When a problem occurs, you’ll be the person who analyzes and understands the problem and delegates it to the relevant people. You will apply your cloud and CI/CD skills working with cloud‑based & on‑prem resources to define standards and processes for the development and deployment of scalable, reliable applications.

You will also be responsible for suggesting innovative solutions and carrying out proof of concepts such as automation of processes and improving integration points.

• BSc/MSc/PhD degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years of experience in Dev Ops Engineer or SRE role
• Knowledge of messaging systems such as Kafka (+ zookeeper), Rabbit
  
  MQ etc.
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux environments such as Ubuntu and/or RHEL
• Understanding of large scale distributed systems and microservices architecture
• Experience with monitoring and logging systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, collectord, splunk etc.)
• Experience with shell tools (vim, tmux, git, telnet, netcat, ssh, jq, docker‑compose etc.)
• Programming and scripting skills (Shell, python, java, or nodejs)
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes
• Experience with Github Actions or other CI/CD automation build and deployment systems
• Experience with relational and No
  
  SQL data stores such as Elastic Search, Postgres, Scylladb, Druid etc.
• Experience with Terraform or similar IaC technologies
• Knowledge of load balancers such as nginx, haproxy, F5 etc.
