Business Analyst / Scrum Master (eDV Cleared) — 12 Month Contract (Inside IR35) Contract length: 12 months IR35 status:
Inside IR35 Rate: £560 per day Clearance: eDV (Enhanced DV) required Working pattern:
Home-based with travel to Gloucester (as required)

We’re seeking an eDV-cleared Business Analyst / Scrum Master to support a high-profile, secure programme. This is a blended role combining agile delivery leadership with business analysis and strong reporting—particularly around business value and outcomes.

• Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews and retrospectives
• Support the team and Product Owner to maintain a healthy backlog (user stories, acceptance criteria, prioritisation support)
• Deliver reporting and dashboards, including business value reporting (benefits, outcomes, KPIs, value realisation)
• Maintain delivery artefacts and workflows in Jira (boards, epics/stories, queries/filters, sprint reporting)
• Drive effective stakeholder communications: clear updates, dependency management, action tracking, decision logs
• Proactively manage risks, issues and dependencies (RAID), escalating and mitigating where appropriate
• Support governance needs with concise status reporting for senior stakeholders

• Active, transferable eDV clearance (mandatory)
• Demonstrable experience as a Business Analyst and/or Scrum Master in agile environments
• Strong capability in reporting, including business value / outcomes reporting (not just delivery metrics)
• Proven experience running Agile ceremonies and coaching teams in agile ways of working
• Excellent knowledge of Jira (board setup/use, backlog management, reporting)
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across technical/non-technical audiences
• Solid experience in risk management (RAID logs, escalation, mitigation planning)

• Experience in government / defence / national security programmes
• Familiarity with OKRs, benefits tracking, outcome-based delivery and value frameworks
• Experience working across multiple teams or suppliers

This role is primarily remote/home-based, with travel to Gloucester as required due to the secure nature of the work.
