This role will be based remotely in the EMEA region.

• Lead and deliver the strategic Talent Science project roadmap, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Design and implement solutions that improve hiring outcomes, aligning initiatives with high performance outcomes and career frameworks.
• Coach and mentor team members to grow analytical capabilities and thought leadership.
• Represent the team in the absence of the Head of Talent Science, acting as a trusted advisor and inspiring leader.
• Collaborate with company leaders to communicate the vision for talent at Canonical.

• Undergraduate degree in psychology or a people based subject and a strong academic record.
• Team leadership experience within technology or consulting, with exceptional project management skills.
• Proven ability to coach and mentor a team to deliver results.
• Deep understanding of talent selection, career frameworks, and building internal products to match desired outcomes.
• Advanced analytical skills using SQL, Python, or statistical analysis.
• Exceptional written and spoken English with strong presentation skills for senior audiences.
• Availability to travel internationally up to 4 times a year.

• Advanced psychometric assessments and understanding of vendors.
• Deep understanding of human behavior and intrinsic motivation.
• Experience with Superset and advanced dashboarding.
