Azure Engineer

Would you like to participate in large (cloud) migrations of our international customers? At Triple, we are seeking an Azure Engineer to strengthen our team.

What are you going to do?

As an Azure Engineer at Triple, you are responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our Cloud Solutions based on the Azure platform. Our clients are located worldwide, creating a dynamic work environment. You collaborate closely with our clients and a team of architects, engineers, and developers to create the best solutions that fulfill the requirements.

Your activities include:

• Designing and implementing Azure cloud solutions for our customers;

• Setting up and managing hosting environments based on scripting (ARM/Bicep Templates, Azure CLI, and Power Shell);

• Building and configuring Azure services, such as virtual machines, storage, networking, security, databases, and applications;

• Setting up and managing build & release pipelines to support your colleagues in the automation and integration of the CI/CD pipelines;

• Optimizing Azure deployments to meet performance and scalability requirements;

• Monitoring, maintaining, and optimizing (existing) Azure environments to ensure reliability and security;

• Solving problems and providing support for technical issues;

• Collaborating with different (competence) teams and stakeholders to deliver solutions that meet the standards;

The team

The Tech Ops (Technology Operations) department includes about 40 engineers and plays a vital role  an Azure Engineer, you will join one of our teams and work directly with other Azure colleagues. It is preferred that you have scripting and programming skills, such as Power Shell, Python, Golang, or C#.

You should have experience with infrastructure automation and configuration tools like Bicep or ARM templates, Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, and Salt Stack. Additionally, familiarity with file formats such as JSON, YAML, TOML, or XML is important. Knowledge of Dev Ops processes and tools like Azure Dev Ops, Git Lab, Git Hub, Git, and Jenkins is also essential. In the Tech Ops department, we prioritize sharing knowledge and experience.

We begin each morning with a stand-up meeting where everyone discusses their work and asks for help when needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT or a related field;

• At least three years of experience with Azure cloud solutions and services;

• Knowledge of cloud security, networking, and storage.

• Experience with automation and scripting in Azure, such as Power Shell and ARM/Bicep templates.

• Experience with Dev Ops methodologies and tools.

• Participating in 24/7 on-call services.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in English (Dutch is a big plus).

• Work from our Alkmaar office, with the option to work from home one day per week.
