Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst/Data Engineer to join our team  role requires wearing multiple hats, leading end-to-end projects in collaboration with Client leadership. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis and engineering, with specific experience in documenting data dictionaries, gathering business requirements, and working with cloud-based data platforms such as Snowflake. Additionally, familiarity with Micro Strategy for dashboard reporting is essential.

This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills and a solid understanding of various business units, including internal medicine, oncology, and hospital operations

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain comprehensive data dictionaries to ensure data consistency and usability across teams.
• Document business requirements through stakeholder discussions and meetings.
• Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes to facilitate data integration with Snowflake.
• Collaborate with data architects to optimize data models and database performance.
• Design and maintain dashboards and reports using Micro Strategy to provide actionable insights for business stakeholders.
• Analyze large datasets, including LAAD, ELAAD, formulary, prescription, call, and activity data, to identify trends and inform decision-making.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including ETL, front-end reporting,and business leaders, to understand data needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Support effective communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve data processes and reporting efficiency, driving innovation in data management practices.
• Address data quality issues and work on data governance initiatives to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Write business articles and stay informed about industry standards and best practices, contributing to knowledge sharing and thought leadership.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in business analysis, data engineering, or a related role within the life sciences industry.
• Proficiency in Snowflake, Micro Strategy, and data visualization tools.
• Strong understanding of life sciences business units, specifically internal medicine, oncology, and hospital settings.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex data-related concepts to diverse audiences.
• Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
