Job Overview

A Bristol-based SME delivering digital and data solutions into the defence sector is seeking an experienced Power Platform Developer to support the design and build of secure, scalable business applications. This is a 6‑month contract operating outside IR35 with a hybrid working model combining remote delivery and on‑site collaboration in Bristol.

• Develop complex Power Apps and Power Automate workflows to support critical business processes within a regulated environment.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into robust, user‑friendly solutions deployable across multiple teams and environments.
• Build multi‑tenant solutions using environment variables to enable seamless switching between data sources across development, test, and production environments.
• Integrate applications with SharePoint and Dataverse, designing efficient data models and applying role‑based security to ensure appropriate access controls.

• 3‑5 years’ commercial experience as a Power Platform Developer with strong hands‑on capability across Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Solid understanding of Microsoft data services.
• Active SC Clearance.
• Experience building multi‑tenant solutions using environment variables.
• Experience designing efficient data models and applying role‑based security.
• Experience working within structured delivery and governance frameworks.

6‑month contract, operating outside IR35. Day rate:
Circa £700 per day. Hybrid – home working with on‑site work at a Bristol‑based defence client.
