The Role:2nd Line Support Team Lead Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
Location:
This is a hybrid role, combining remote work with regular collaboration in our Derby office at least three days per week. (Applicants must have the right to work in the UK as we are unable to offer visa sponsorship). Contract Type:

37.5 hours per week. Monday - Friday.

What will you be getting up to?Lead, mentor, and manage a team of end-user computing specialists, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment
Develop and implement strategies to optimize end-user computing resources, ensuring a seamless and secure user experience.
Utilise Microsoft Intune and Microsoft 365 technologies to manage, configure, and secure end-user devices and applications.
Collaborate with security and compliance teams to implement and enforce security policies, data protection, and user access controls.
Maintain and enhance endpoint security measures, including antivirus, firewalls, and encryption, to safeguard company data and systems.
Oversee the provisioning and management of end-user hardware, software, and mobile devices.
Monitor and report on the performance, availability, and reliability of end-user computing infrastructure.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in end-user computing, security, and user experience.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to members of the software engineering team
Proven experience in managing end-user computing environments with a focus on security and user experience.
Strong expertise in Microsoft Intune and Microsoft 365 administration.
Knowledge of security best practices, compliance standards, and data protection regulations.
Leadership and team management skills, including the ability to coach and develop team members.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Industry certifications such as Microsoft Certified:
Intune and Microsoft 365 Certified:
Enterprise Administrator Expert are a plus.
