What you will do- Deliver expert front‑line trading support for global clients by addressing market‑event inquiries and product specifications across all asset classes.
- Monitor real‑time market conditions and order flow to proactively identify, investigate, and mitigate unusual or inefficient behaviours that could impact market integrity.
- Oversee daily settlement data processes, product activations, expirations, and other critical operational tasks to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Lead complex investigations into internal and external client issues by translating technical or market‑related problems into actionable solutions for diverse audiences.
- Develop ad‑hoc data queries and perform advanced analysis to construct data‑driven recommendations that inform policy improvements, process enhancements, and technology upgrades.
- Engage directly with clients through phone and electronic channels to provide immediate problem resolution while delivering outstanding customer service at every interaction.
- Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams around the globe to manage incident resolution from start to finish, contributing proactively to shared knowledge bases.
- Support the implementation of new products or system changes by coordinating with relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth transitions without disruption to trading activities.
- Maintain meticulous records of incidents, resolutions, and best practices to foster continuous improvement within the command centre function.
- Participate in regular training sessions and knowledge‑sharing initiatives to stay abreast of industry developments and enhance personal expertise.
- Demonstrated experience in a customer‑facing support role within financial services—ideally involving trading or technical support functions—with a proven track record of reliability under pressure.
- Comprehensive understanding of Futures and Options markets as well as core trading concepts relevant to global derivatives marketplaces.
- Proficiency in using leading industry charting tools and news platforms such as Bloomberg or Refinitiv Eikon for effective market monitoring.
- Ability to analyse statistical trends from trading activity—including price movement, volume fluctuations, and volatility—to inform decision‑making processes.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills combined with strong problem‑solving abilities that facilitate effective stakeholder management across diverse groups.
- Experience utilising investigative tools or analytical software is highly desirable for conducting thorough root‑cause analyses on incidents affecting trading operations.
- Solid foundation in technical support disciplines such as data analysis or market analysis gained through hands‑on roles within similar environments.
- Capacity to work both independently when required as well as collaboratively within globally distributed teams focused on shared objectives.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development demonstrated by participation in training programmes or industry certifications related to financial markets.
